In order to meet customer needs, Cable One pledges to provide its services with premium performance, reliability, exceptional support and security features. Among such criteria for customer satisfaction, special attention is given to security aspects of the solution/circuit because of the mission-critical data carried on our network.

Last mile security
Security starts at the last-mile, on the radio side where Client Information is encrypted and MAC address authentication is performed.

VPN security
Once the information is on our backbone, VPN data is passed on Frame Relay PVCs, a Layer-2 protocol, which is known to be highly secure by nature (based on Layer 2 switching).

Internet security
For our Powerlink service, Internet Data is routed on Layer 3 IP information by using the same standard as for the Internet world-wide. Customized tunneling is occasionally tailored to meet special needs of some customers requesting particular applications and security issues.
